I had meetings back to back to day, all across London so I was not best pleased to be evacuated from my tube and unable to use the station leaving me stranded in oxford circus.  I was just casually sat on my train waiting for it to leave when we were all asked to evacuate the station immediately, escalators were stopped, barrier’s open and mothers running with their children in their arms. It was this few minuets of absolute panic before I got back onto the streets and made my way to the next station. It was my first tube emergency and certainly got my heart racing. I still don’t know what it was, perhaps just a false alarm, but either way it completely threw my plans for the rest of the afternoon. So I did what any good fashion student would do, I went shopping instead.
